Lucca will host ', 25 September to January 9, 2011, the exhibition ' Lucca and Europe. An idea of \u200b\u200bthe Middle Ages (V-XI centuries) ', an initiative that is part of the celebrations which will commemorate the centenary of the birth of the critic and art historian Carlo Ludovico Ragghianti.
The venue of the exhibition is at the Fondazione Centro Studi Ragghianti Via San Micheletto, 5 - 55100 Lucca, where the public (free admission) will see over 100 hundred works of the eleventh century, V, divided into eleven sections that reconstruct the production Art Lucca linked to the wider European disputed.
